» Services Provided by the Mission
Food Pantry
Servicing on an average of 1,000 men, women and children per month with a balance diet to supplement their grocery needs. They also receive personal care items and household cleaning materials. They are able to come once during every calendar month.
Hot Lunch Program
From 100 to 150 individuals gather at the mission 5 days, and sometimes 6, to fellowship and avail themselves to a nutritious hot lunch. For many this will be their only meal for the day. They are from all walks of life. The homeless, the hungry, the lonely, street people, drug addicts and on and on. A meal is also provided after the Sunday Worship Service.
Clothing Ministry
Clothing for all, plus household items, appliances and furniture. Located at the house just west of the mission.
Infants Ministry
324 infants are on our rolls as of 1/1/04. We provide diapers, formula, clothing, blankets, strollers, cribs, high chairs and other needs. This is an amazing and wonderful ministry. So many of the moms are single and are children themselves. Located in the building just north of the Mission. This is a free service and the parents are allowed to obtain items twice a month. In emergency situations no one is turned away.
Eye Care
Dr. Chris Hall, our Optometrist, comes twice a month.
Medical Service
Chiropractic Services provided by Dr. Jerry McClane twice a month at no charge.
Resource Center
We provide a service where we can direct individuals to agencies when we are not able to help them. This also includes brochures, pamphlets, and flyers dealing with various needs.
Spiritual
Our main function is always the spiritual needs of our people. Pastor Bob Cattane is available during Mission hours.
